A course describing the physiological properties, cellular and chemical constituents of blood; blood coagulation and haemostasis. Cardiovascular hemodynamics, cardiac regulation, blood pressure, the peripheral circulation, the lymph circulation; and regional circulation will be reviewed. Non-reproductive endocrine systems will be discussed including the hypothalamic-pituitary relationships, growth, water and electrolyte balance, metabolism, stress adaptations, glucose and calcium levels.
