*Selection is subject to the following rules:

  1. At least [1.00] in the program must be in the Arts and Social Sciences.
  2. It is recommended that the student choose an "Area of Focus" consisting of [2.50] credits which may be in subjects such as Biomedical Sciences, Biophysics, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Computing and Information Science, Food Science, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Plant Science or Toxicology. Lists of approved courses for each area of focus are available from the departmental advisor.
  3. Students who lack a background in computer science are recommended to select 1 of their electives from 27-120, 27-150,27-160 to be taken by the end of their second year.
