Nutritional Sciences

Department of Human Biology and Nutritional Sciences, College of Biological Science.

Nutritional Sciences is concerned with understanding the contribution of food, beverage and nutritional supplement consumption to growth, development of optimal biological function and maintenance of health. Through consultation with the Coordinator and the use of electives, students may structure a program emphasizing functional foods and nutraceuticals. If lacking the fundamentals of word processing, spread sheet use and data management, the student should elect 27-120 as early in the program as possible.
