Award Description

Dorothy Shantz Memorial Scholarship

Established by the National Foundation of the Canadian Restaurant and Foodservice Association. Apply to the HAFA Awards Committee by January 31.

Qualifications: Student registered in the B.Comm. (HAFA) program who successfully completed [15.00] credits (normally in the seventh semester) with a minimum cumulative average of 70%, and who shows enthusiasm for the foodservice industry. The recipient must have demonstrated leadership ability by holding an executive position on the student organization of HAFA.

Amount: One award of $1,000 and an engraved plaque
