Kenneth W. Hammond Award

The evaluation of the student will be based on the final essay in the "Environmental Perspectives and Human Choice: 5000 Days" course. The selection committee will be comprised of 4 persons: the donor, the Director of the Arboretum, the Dean of Physical and Engineering Science and the Dean of Biological Science. Application not necessary.

Qualifications: Student who has best demonstrated an understanding of the world's resource situation and its proper use by humankind.
Amount: One award of $700
