Award Description

Dorothy M. Collins Scholarship in Music

Established by the family of Dorothy Collins to honour her involvement with the Guelph Spring Festival, the Wellington County Museum, and other cultural organizations throughout Ontario. Apply by letter with resumé and supporting material to the Director of the School of Fine Art and Music by April 1.

Qualifications: B.A. student with a major or minor in Music who has completed semester 4 and has demonstrated high achievement in voice studies, academic excellence and musical contribution to the community beyond the university. Preference will be given to a student who has demonstrated outstanding achievement in vocal studies by completing MUSC*2500 (Applied Music III in Voice) with a mark of at least 85%.
Amount: One award of $500
