Award Description

Joan Doherty Travel Scholarship

Established in memory of the late Joan Doherty (a member of the class of FACS '78) to assist students to attend a conference related to their studies. Apply to the Chair of the Department of Consumer Studies by March 1 including a budget and a description of the travel.

Qualifications: Undergraduate or graduate student in Consumer Studies with a minimum cumulative average of 70%. The recipient will be selected based upon the cost of attending the conference and the benefit it will bring to the student's program of study.

Amount: One award of $400
