Award Description

MacNaughton Access Scholarships in Physics

Established by Earl B. MacNaughton, former head of the Department of Physics and founding Dean of the College of Physical Science, and faculty, staff and alumni of the Department of Physics, with the assistance of the Ontario government's OSOTF program. Students may hold this award more than once. Apply with a completed Need Assessment Form to Student Financial Services by October 1. ACCESS AWARD

Qualifications: Students with demonstrated financial need who are in second year or beyond of a major physics program with a minimum cumulative average of 70% in the required physics courses of that program. Additionally, students must meet the government-mandated terms for receipt of an OSOTF Award.

Amount: Four awards of $1,000
