Award Description

Francois Cleyn Scholarship

Established by the Canadian Textile Institute in memory of Dr. Cleyn, a former chair of the board of directors and founder of Cleyn & Tinker Inc., to foster talent in the Canadian clothing and textile industries. Apply to the CSAHS Undergraduate Awards Committee by April 1, including a resumé and a 500 work statement documenting interest and experience in the clothing or textile industries.

Qualifications: Students with a minimum 70% average in the last two full-time semesters who have taken courses in clothing and textiles and have an interest in the clothing and textile industries. Students also must be involved in extracurricular activities.

Amount: One award of $500
