Virginia McEwen Memorial Scholarships |
An endowment has been established by the family and friends of Virginia McEwen, an alumna of Macdonald Institute, Class of '57 (B.H.Sc.), recipient of a University of Guelph Master's degree in 1971 and an enthusiastic participant in a wide range of activities of the University of Guelph Alumni Association for many years. Application not necessary. |
Qualifications: Outstanding students in the B.A.Sc. co-op program. The first scholarship is awarded on admission to a student's first co-op work semester on the basis of academic performance in all courses completed prior to the first co-op work semester. The second scholarship is awarded to a student entering the second co-op work semester, based on an outstanding rating both on the student's Work Report and the Supervisor's Report on the student's performance, as well as on the basis of academic performance in all courses completed prior to the second co-op work semester. |
