XI--Special Study Opportunities
MPC˛ is a first year program for highly qualified students providing an interdisciplinary approach to Physical Science. The goal of the program is to encourage a more unified view of the physical and mathematical sciences through a heightened awareness of the interconnections between the disciplines of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Computing.
The MPC˛ courses provide the necessary prerequisites for students proceeding into the second year in any program in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Biophysics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Computing and Information Science.
The program features small classes with greater opportunity for interaction both with faculty and classmates and an enriched learning environment. For further details about admission and course requirements, refer to undergraduate degree information on the Bachelor of Science, Section IX.
