Certificates and Diplomas

Certificate in Spanish Language and Culture

The Certificate in Spanish Language and Culture provides students with an intermediate level (B1) of competency in the Spanish language and awareness of the cultures of various Spanish speaking countries of the world.

A minimum of 2.50 credits is required, including:

Students with no previous Spanish will begin in SPAN*1100.

Students with previous studies in Spanish will begin at an appropriate level after placement by the Head of Spanish and Hispanic Studies and may take more advanced courses to complete the 2.50 credits.
