University of Guelph-Humber
Admission to the University of Guelph-Humber is primarily based on grades. However, the Student Profile (SP) gives you a chance to share more about yourself — things like clubs, sports, volunteer work, leadership, and any challenges outside your control that may have affected your academics. Completing the SP is optional, but strongly recommended.
No third-party documentation is required.
Protection of Privacy: Personal information is collected under the authority of the University of Guelph Act (1964) and in accordance with Ontario’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA). This information is used by Admission Services and will be used for admission purposes only. Questions about this collection of personal information should be directed to admissions@guelphhumber.ca.
How the SP is used: SP submissions are considered in the final round of offers. If your admission average in May does not meet the cut-off for the program(s) to which you’ve applied, your SP may be considered if your average falls within a discretionary range of the final cut-off (range varies by program and will not be more than 5%). SP submissions are used for admission purposes only; not for fulfilling conditions.
