Canadian Golden Rescue was inspired to establish this scholarship by their belief that rescue goes beyond providing care—it is also about supporting the community that cares deeply for the dogs they serve. With so many Golden Retrievers impacted by cancer, Canadian Golden Rescue wish to support research that addresses this devastating disease and helps improve the lives of pets and their families. Apply during the annual call for OVC Graduate Award applications from the OVC Dean’s Office in January of each year. Selection will be based on relevance of student’s research and academic performance to date in their graduate program.
Students registered full-time in any graduate program offered by the Ontario Veterinary College whose research relates to canine oncology.
