Description

Led by:

  • Dr. Sharada Srinivasan, Associate Professor, & Canada Research Chair in Gender, Justice and Development, Department of Sociology & Anthropology
  • Dr. Wei Zhang, Assistant Professor and CIFAR Global Scholar, Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology

This session will provide early career researchers with tips from which to start to build a successful research program. Speakers will address the need to:

  1. identify and understand expectations;
  2. clarify your research needs;
  3. set realistic goals;
  4. develop a plan for achieving goals;
  5. identify and manage individual barriers to achieving goals and more.
