Description

The goal of this program is to provide salary and research support during the early years of a developing career for cancer prevention researchers. The program is designed to support researchers whose work has the potential for high impact within the domain of prevention/risk reduction research.

Eligibility

Assistant professor within the first five years of their appointment or Postdoctoral fellow with at least one year of postdoctoral training completed

Funding Availability

$75,000/year to a maximum or $225,000 per award - at least $50,000 must be used for salary support except where it exceeds the institution salary scale – anticipates 8 awards will be funded

Special Notes

Applications focusing on quality of life or psychosocial outcomes will not be considered under this funding opportunity.
