Sponsor

The Canada Gairdner Foundation

Description

The Canada Gairdner Foundation invites early career investigators across Canada to submit an application to present their research as part of the Gairdner Science Week virtual events in October. The Gairdner Foundation was established in 1957 with the main goal of recognizing and rewarding international excellence in fundamental research that impacts human health.

Eligibility

This call is open to all faculty and professionals at the Assistant Professor or equivalent rank.

Prize

Up to five investigators will be chosen to give 10-minute talks during Gairdner Week Events, to connect with the 2025 laureates, students and researchers, and to attend the 2025 Awards Gala on October 23, 2025 (travel and hotel provided). The talks will be webcast live and recorded for sharing via Gairdner media channels.

This is a competitive process, with the finalists being selected by the laureates themselves.
