Canadian Council on Animal Care (CCAC)
Description
The Canadian Council on Animal Care sets the standards for the care and use of animals in science in Canada. Currently they are seeking input from faculty and other expert personnel who work with reptiles and amphibians to provide input into new guidelines being developed to govern the use of these classes of animals in research, teaching and testing. Please see the notice [1] for information on how to nominate or self-nominate to the committees that will develop these guidelines. The University of Guelph Animal Care Committee encourages members of the university community to participate in this process.
