Please find below a summary of Horizon Europe webinars and matchmaking events taking place in February 2026. 

In addition, The Horizon Europe Secretariat, Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) Canada, has published a consolidated list (see "Attachments" below) of all Pillar 2 calls in the 2026-27 Work Programmes, covering Clusters 1-6, the EU Missions, and the New European Bauhaus. This document includes key details such as total budget, type of action and associated partnerships, where applicable. 

The European Commission has again recognized Canadian excellence in the areas of artificial intelligence, robotics, quantum technologies and space. Canada has been granted access to these restricted topics (commonly referred to as “sensitive calls”) under the 2026-2027 Work Programmes. The list includes an indication of which calls are sensitive.

Webinars

• February 11: European Commission Webinar on Lump Sum Funding: The session will feature insights on preparing lump sum proposals and testimonials from funded projects. 

Matchmaking Events

• January/February 2026: IDEAL-IST: Cluster 4 Digital Calls: This platform will support matchmaking for Cluster 4 Digital Calls.
• January 12 – April 17: Cluster 4 Industry Calls: This platform can help you find partners for projects in industrial technologies and advanced manufacturing under Horizon Europe.
• February 25: Net4Society: Artificial Intelligence in Horizon Europe Calls: This event brings together applicants interested in submitting proposals relating to artificial intelligence and requires the involvement of social sciences and the humanities. If you are planning to pitch, please submit your presentation as soon as possible. Registration closes on February 20, 2026.
