Description

Learn from research users, advisors and industry. Explore how research moves through the innovation ecosystem and what researchers can do.

The previous Idea to Impact session explored how research can be designed for adoption and impact.

This session builds on those themes by shifting the perspective to the users of research. Researchers often focus on generating evidence and communicating findings, but impact ultimately depends on how research is discovered, interpreted, trusted, shared and applied by others.

By bringing researchers together with sector organizations, businesses, advisors, government specialists and knowledge mobilization professionals, this session will explore how research moves through the innovation ecosystem and what researchers can do to improve its relevance, accessibility and use.

This event will help researchers better understand how research users discover, interpret, share and apply research findings by bringing together researchers, sector organizations, businesses, advisors, government specialists and knowledge mobilization professionals to discuss how knowledge moves from research into practice.

Hosted by the Livestock Research Innovation Corporation.
