Infographics in Practice Program

A program is designed for HQP across the Agricultural Genomics Action Centre network (and beyond) who are interested in building capacity to share research in creative, accessible, and engaging ways. Over the course of the program, you'll sharpen your storytelling, graphic design, and communication skills - essential tools for effective knowledge mobilization.

You'll choose a topic related to your research/the approved program themes (see Program Guide) and develop an infographic that communicates your message clearly to a broad audience. Throughout the process you’ll have opportunities for feedback from experienced knowledge mobilization professionals to help refine both your content and design.

The program is accepting 15 participants, who are then eligible for an honorarium for their developed infographic. Final infographics will be featured at the Cultivating Resilience Summit (Oct 27–28, Vancouver, BC).

Eligibility

  • Open to HQP at Canadian universities with a research-based or evidence-informed topic

  • Preference will be given to applications in the following order:

    • From Interdisciplinary Challenge Teams in the Climate-Smart Agriculture and Food Systems portfolio

    • From AG-ACt partner institutions (incl University of Guelph)

Apply by August 22
