Description

Canada’s canola industry and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) have jointly funded canola research through the last four AgriScience Cluster programs. This investment in research and innovation has helped address industry-wide priorities and supported the canola industry’s contribution of more than $43 billion in direct, indirect and induced benefits annually to the Canadian economy.

The CCC, Alberta Canola, SaskOilseeds, Manitoba Canola Growers, Results Driven Agriculture Research, Ontario Canola Growers Association and AAFC are working together to develop the fifth Canola AgriScience Cluster. The next program will build on previous Cluster investments and align with priorities set out in the Next Policy Framework [2] (NPF).
