The Mihara Cerebrovascular Disorder Research Promotion Fund
Description
In view of an urgent need in Japan to further promote basic and clinical studies on cerebrovascular disorders, the Fund provides research grants to researchers to financially assist them in conducting their studies, and thereby aims to contribute to the progress of medical sciences and human welfare.
Eligibility
Projects eligible for funding:
- Basic or clinical studies relating to cerebrovascular disorders conducted by promising researchers
- Individual and specific research plans will be subsidized to support their implementation
- Applications are accepted on a recommendation basis only
Self-nomination is not allowed.
Applicants can apply only on a recommendation basis. The recommendation form can be downloaded from the Mihara Award website.
Prize
One researcher will be awarded 10 million Yen ($96K CAD).
