Accelerator Guelph is a workshop and mentorship based commercialization support program designed specifically for researchers who want to create and grow Agri-Food businesses.
Using the successful model created by the Waterloo Accelerator Centre, Accelerator Guelph helps researchers to increase their monetary and reputational rewards while also helping to improve life and grow the Canadian economy.
The four-stage Accelerator Guelph program is based on proven best practices developed at incubators and accelerators around the world. Our programming challenges researchers to push their ideas to commercialization; individuals and teams explore market feasibility, develop solid business foundations and acquire the executive leadership skills necessary to scale their ideas into high value concepts.
On January 24, 2018 a pilot cohort of Accelerator Guelph teams will start a 14-week program on campus. Follow our participants as they explore the market feasibility of their ideas by using our @CreatedAtGuelph profiles on Twitter and Instagram or by searching the hashtags #CreatedAtGuelph and #AcceleratorGuelph.
Recruitment for future Accelerator Guelph cohorts happens on an on-going basis and consists of an interview and application process. For more information or to request an interview, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
