Thesis Title: Changes in Soil Properties Due To Topography, Tillage And Time in the Guelph Soil Catena at the Ontario Benchmark Site # 14&44 (Rockwood, Ontario)
The assessment and interpretation of land resources of Canada for
agricultural planning and decision-making by policy makers,
agricultural extension specialists, producer groups and other research scientists in the public and private sectors.
The development of new data technologies and methodologies for the collection, assessment, characterization, interpretation, updating and display of land resource inventory data in Canada for use by other scientists, professionals and the public in evaluating and modeling the impacts of land use change and of climate variability and change on agriculture and sustainable agricultural management. This is accomplished through a number of collaborative research
projects with research groups across Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and the University of Guelph.
