- Couple and family experience is expressed in different forms of relationships including traditional heterosexual marriages, same sex partnerships, cohabitation, separated, divorced, and remarried families and parenting throughout the life cycle. Masters related to field
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Successful teaching related to field at college or university level
Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Substantive knowledge of the course content area. Demonstrable expertise in adult education, online learning and use of the Desire2Learn course website platform.

Specific Preferred competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Preference will be given to a candidate with academic/theoretical and practical experience in the area of Couple & Family Dynamics. Strong familiarity with current research findings, and issues of Family Dynamics throughout the life course, emphasizing themes of power, intimacy and family diversity. Previous teaching and experience with D2L (course website platform) is preferred.

Section DE03: This is a distance education course offering. As such, significant online monitoring, supervision and feedback related to student learning activities is required.
