The candidate is expected to access and interact with students on the course website a minimum of once each week consistently throughout the semester; dedicate time (several hours) at the end of each of the 7 (one to two-week) modules to mark student participation and provide timely feedback to students; grade group assignments and final exams, and report back to Open Learning; consistently and regularly facilitate student-directed learning in an on-line environment; provide timely constructive feedback; supervise GTAs.

Degree: 
Masters related to field
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Successful teaching related to field at college or university level
Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Experience in the principles and practice of watershed-based planning, history of water resources, hydrology, ecosystem approaches, or public decision-making processes related to societal participation in ecosystem policy.
Preferred Qualifications
Specific Preferred competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
This course explores the theory and practice of planning for watershed with special emphasis on water resource analysis, the institutions and procedures related to watershed planning, and contextual content related to sub-watershed planning, source protection planning, and water quality planning and management.
