Students analyze the elements of offences, classify offences, and identify possible defences in criminal cases. They also examine the rights and obligations of citizens involving areas of civil law. Students learn to recognize the responsibilities and limitations of citizens and police officers in light of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
