Other Duties Described: 
This position involves the facilitation of a text-based course in distance education format. The candidate will be responsible for grading student participation in class discussions, group assignments, and a final take-home exam. The candidate must have regular and reliable internet access, and be accessible and responsive to students via the course website and email. Emphasis will be placed on communication challenges facing leaders in small organizations and the importance of developing a culture of shared leadership. The candidate is expected to: (1) access the course website at least once/day consistently throughout the semester; (2) dedicate time at the end of each of the two-week modules to mark student participation and provide timely feedback to students; (3) grade group assignments and final exams, and report back to Open Learning; (4) facilitate student-directed learning in an online environment; and (5) provide constructive feedback.

Degree: 
Masters related to field
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Successful teaching related to field at college or university level
Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
The candidate must have (1) experience in facilitation; (2) working knowledge of educational technologies; (3) knowledge of leadership development; (4) experience working with undergraduate students.
