A minimum of (1) a Masters degree with professional experience in community/land development planning or (2) a BLA with significant professional experience in land/development planning
Prior Teaching Experience:
Successful teaching related to field at college or university level
Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content:
Candidates should have proven studio-based teaching ability; experience in teaching design (site- and/or land-planning courses) requiring student critiques; familiarity with the application of an integrative design process (environmental, social, cultural, economic) related to land preservation, conservation, and development; experience with regional scale design and master planning for communities. Projects will focus on land planning, community design, urban design, and should integrate techniques related to public engagement and communication for land development projects.
