• Must be available for consultation by students daily, and must be able to actively communicate and respond to normal online course discussions and student emails in a timely manner. • Coordinating the Teaching Assistants for the course. • Attending meetings with students and be available for advising times.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or a closely related field
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Successful teaching related to field at college or university level

Prior experience teaching content related to CIS*1050.DE
Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
• Considerable experience in web design, specifically in the HTML and CSS. • Experience with content management systems such as Wordpress. • Knowledge of principles of design, with respect to webpage design. • Ability to answer student queries, and manage an online forum. • Some demonstrated web programming skills.

Ph.D. or M.Sc. with Appropriate Experience in Computer Science or a closely related discipline
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Many years of successful teaching related to contents of the course.
Specific Preferred competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
• Previous teaching experience in this CIS*1050*DE will be considered an asset. • Extensive web programming skills in multiple areas and languages. • Demonstrated excellence related to teaching.
Days Required and Wages
Days and Times Required: 
Times required are anticipated to be primarily be centred around North American standard timezones when students are most active. This applies to other student-instructor interactions, such as office hours/meetings with the instructor, coordinating with teaching assistants, etc.; however, times will vary based on student activity.
Period of the Work Agreement (Start Date and End Date): 
May 11, 2020 to August 27, 2020
Wages (per semester, per full-load): 
minimum $7,485.99 (effective 2020/21)
