Composing and grading all course assignments, term tests, and final exams. We strongly recommend the use of grading rubrics for student assignments Providing the Department with an updated course outline at your earliest convenience and by one week before the start of classes. Any significant changes to the course outline, including but not limited to a change in textbook or assessment strategies, must be approved by the Department Chair Providing feedback to students during the course of the semester Following the end of the semester, as per Article 14.11(a) in your Collective Agreement, you may also be requested to perform work as outlined therein. Reimbursement will be paid in accordance with Schedule "B" of the Collective Agreement upon submission of the extra hours and dates worked, to the Department Chair

Required Qualifications
Degree: 
Masters and Thesis in course content
Masters degree in Couple and Family Therapy or related field, clinical member of AAMFT and approved supervisor or supervisor candidate with AAMFT
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Many years of successful teaching related to contents of the course.
Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Background knowledge and experience in Special Topics field selected.

Days and Times Required: 
Monday 9:00-11:50 a.m. FRAN*6080 is offered in a unique format that requires ongoing student participation over a two-year period. There are a total of 12 seminars. These include three seminars in fall term and three in the winter term of the student's first academic year in the CFT program, followed by the same pattern in the second year. These classes must take place during the normal teaching semester and at the time specified in the class schedule. This posting is for 2 semesters (as such: 3, 3 hour classes per semester in fall and winter). The instructor will be paid one quarter of the standard sessional rate for each semester. Thus, the minimum wage for the two semesters will be $3526.40
