Other Course Description or Assignment Information: 
This course will highlight common causes of infectious, metabolic and reproductive disorders of domestic and companion animals and their potential impact on animal welfare and production, as well as producers and consumers. Disorders will be addressed in the context of pathophysiology, transmission and prevention strategies involving biosecurity, vaccination, nutrition, genetic selection and environmental enrichment. The session this position will cover is diseases of ruminants.

Prior Teaching Experience: 
No teaching experience required
Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Candidate should demonstrate good teaching skills, and experience and vast knowledge in the field of ruminant health, including the following: metritis, mastitis, inflammation, metabolic problems, ketosis, hypocalcemia, ruminal acidosis, health management of newborns and postpartum females, prevention of diseases, and consequences of inflammatory diseases.
