PHYS*1080 course content developmental work: The successful candidate will be responsible for: 1) identifying the key curricular topics in each of the existing 10 study guides for PHYS*1080 2) organizing these topics into priority lists for the curation and creation of instructional videos of 3 to 5 mins duration each 3) scripting and storyboarding segments for the first 3 study guides 4) advising the developmental team on the options available for video production and implementation 5) advising the developmental team on the options available for in-class engagement technology 6) preparation of attitudinal survey & Force Concept Inventory for Fall '16 offering (baseline measurements)

Required Qualifications
Degree: 
Masters related to field
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Successful teaching related to field at college or university level
Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
previous experience teaching through Distance Education; familiarity with best practices in pedagogy for blended-learning environments
Preferred Qualifications
Degree: 
PhD in progress related to field
Specific Preferred competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
previous experience with creating customized online courseware for introductory physics
