Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content:
Demonstrated knowledge of employment law, particularly in Ontario, including the Employment Standards Act, the Human Rights Code, the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Workplace Safety Insurance Act; the statutory and common law rules that govern the employment relationship from its inception to termination, such as wrongful hiring, implied terms and conditions of employment, wrongful dismissal and post-employment obligations.
