This course provides an overview of the diversity of special needs in children and their families. Different causes, common characteristics, intervention approaches, and programming guidelines for creating a bias-free, inclusive, and family-centered learning environment will be explored. Section DE: This is a distance education course offering. As such, significant online monitoring, supervision and feedback related to student learning activities is required.
