Required Qualifications:
Applicants must: a) be enrolled in a full-time Chemistry graduate program in an area of synthetic chemistry, b) have completed a B.Sc. degree in Chemistry, c) have experience teaching in Chemistry laboratories, d) be able to demonstrate experience handling Hazardous Materials and awareness of all potential chemical hazards, e) be able to demonstrate an ability to create and maintain a safe work place, f) be able to demonstrate excellent Spectroscopy skills (NMR, FTIR, GC) and previous exemplary teaching performance, g) be able to provide documentation indicating they have completed the following training programs: Lab Safety Training (EHS), WHMIS Training (EHS), Worker Health & Safety Awareness (EHS), Accessible Service Provision (CourseLink) and Making Education Accessible (CourseLink). Must complete additional safety training as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ph.D. Candidate in Synthetic Chemistry.
