Required Qualifications:
Applicants must:
a) Be enrolled in a Chemistry graduate program,
b) Have completed a B.Sc. degree in Chemistry,
c) Have experience teaching in chemistry laboratories,
d) Be able to demonstrate an enthusiasm for teaching,
e) Be able to demonstrate an ability to create and maintain a safe work place,
f) Be able to demonstrate previous satisfactory teaching performance, and
g) Applicants must also be able to provide documentation indicating they have completed the following training programs: Lab Safety Training (EHS), WHMIS Training (EHS), Worker Health & Safety Awareness (EHS), Accessible Service Provision (CourseLink) and Making Education Accessible (CourseLink).
Selection of successful candidates will be made in accordance with Article 11.04 of the CUPE 3913-1 collective agreement. Assignments to particular courses will be made in accordance with departmental needs and procedures.
