As part of this work assignment, the Department may, to fulfill its operational needs, also assign work related to introductory level mathematics or statistics courses or the Mathematics and Statistics Learning Centre (tutoring). Preferences will try to be met, but they are not guaranteed. Should work in the Learning Centre be assigned, the schedule will be determined near the beginning of the semester.

Duties for TA work assignments in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics include other ADMINISTRATIVE duties (dept. and final exam invigilation and course evaluations, and other departmental duties specified by the Chair). Qualifications
Required Qualifications: 
Enrollment in a graduate program in Mathematics and Statistics or closely related program. A thorough understanding of introductory statistics is required.
Preferred Qualifications: 
Excellent communications skills plus familiarity with CourseLink would be an asset along with knowledge of R statistics software.
