Required Qualifications:
Advanced knowledge of soil science and, in particular, soil genesis and classification, soil physics, soil chemistry, soil conservation, soil management, land resource issues and land use planning. Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must. Candidate must have the ability to mark and comment on written assignments quickly and accurately, giving students effective feedback on a wide range of topics. The main workload is concentrated in a few weeks of the semester and the candidate must be able to commit to this concentrated workload during these weeks.
