Candidates will be required to work remotely, primarily through the University’s CourseLink system, during regular University Instructional hours (8:30 am to 10:00 pm.) as required.  Duties may could include, but are not limited to, Grading, Disciplinary Facilitation, Educational Technology, monitoring lectures, Course and Content Development.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications: 
Applicants must: a) be enrolled in a Chemistry graduate program with an emphasis in physical chemistry, b) have completed a B.SC. degree in chemistry, c) have experience running density functional theory (DFT) calculations, d) have experience teaching in chemistry laboratories, e) be able to demonstrate an enthusiasm for teaching, f) be able to demonstrate an ability to create and maintain a safe work place, and g) be able to demonstrate previous satisfactory teaching performance. Applicants must be able to provide documentation indicating they have completed the following training programs: Lab Safety Training (EHS), WHMIS Training (EHS), Worker Health & Safety Awareness (EHS), Accessible Service Provision (CourseLink) and Making Education Accessible (CourseLink). Selection of successful candidates will be made in accordance with Article 11.04 of the CUPE 3913-1 collective agreement. Assignments to particular courses will be made in accordance with departmental needs and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications: 
Experience with Quantum computing, DFT calculation and Gaussian software. Under "Other Experience Or Qualifications That May Be Applicable For This Work Assignment", please note any dates/times when you are NOT available to work, and the reasons, otherwise we will assume you are available anytime.
