Required Qualifications:
Graduate students at the University of Guelph, eligible for employment in Unit 1 of Local 3913. Applicants must have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in the English language. Applicants must have a background in biochemistry and animal physiology, including senior or graduate level courses in physiology. Experience grading written assignments would be an asset. GTA attendance and participation is expected for all labs, including the ones scheduled using an in-person/face-to-face format. The GTAs will also be expected to contribute to CourseLink discussions on various topics. By applying for this TA position, you are agreeing to be on campus and available from the start of the contract (September 6, 2022) to complete all assigned duties, available to attend all mandatory meetings including specified laboratory dates, and be available to the end of the contract (December 23, 2022) to grade final papers.
Preferred Qualifications:
Completion of on-line training module in animal care is an asset.
