Required Qualifications: 
Candidates must have completed a number of senior undergraduate (or graduate) courses in both genetics and molecular biology within the last 3 years. Candidates must be familiar with the research techniques used in the field of molecular biology and genetics. Candidates must have strong mathematical and problem-solving skills and they should know how to solve practical genetics and molecular biology problems. Excellent verbal, written, organization and interpersonal skills are required. Preference will also be given to candidates who have previously graded genetics and molecular biology exams. By applying for this TA position, you are agreeing to be available on campus to complete all assigned duties as determined by the instructor(s), available to attend all mandatory meetings, the dates for invigilating and grading the midterm, and available until the end of the contract to invigilate and grade final exams.
