The University is committed to training its staff on the use of the campus Sexual Violence Protocol. Through the leadership of Student Affairs Case Director, different depths of training are provided to a wide range of individuals, dependent upon their job function. For example, annual education programming and training is provided to all Residence Life staff and those individuals that have a explicit responsibility within the Protocol.
A new training model is under development that will provide broader training on sexual assault and sexual violence support and information. Under this new model, the University will be able to train more staff, faculty, student-staff and volunteers on how to provide support and resources to survivors of sexual assault and sexual violence.
