Natalie's research is focused on understanding the dynamics and barries that affect East African immigrants' access to mental healthcare in southern Ontario. It is concerned with how structural inequities, social legitimacy, and attitudes of deservingness impact access in political economy of health. Other research interests include: multiculturalism, stigmatization, marginalization, digital anthropology, community based research, and development studies.
