In keeping with the University of Guelph’s commitment to student well-being the Case Director provides leadership in prevention and intervention programs in support of survivors of sexual violence and students referred by Student Wellness Services. This includes ensuring appropriate coordination of care and individual support for students experiencing significant mental health and/or medical challenges, monitoring withdrawal and return to school conditions, and communicating with appropriate partners, both on and off campus. The primary purpose of this office is to enhance the conditions and likelihood of students’ personal and academic success.
The office is committed to:
- Supporting student survivors of sexual violence;
- Coordinating support, accommodation, and resources for students in distress;
- Coordinating the development and delivery of training around mental health and sexual violence; and
- Providing resources and referrals to students and supporters.
