Creating a Lasting Impression - Making the Transition to Canadian Municipal Engineering Careers

Join us if you would like to learn more about Engineering within the Canadian Municipal Sector.

Our HR staff will be on hand, to discuss the recruitment process that is used by the City of Guelph, and Lutherwood Employment Services will be explaining the different types of skills building activities they have to assist international professionals in career success.

The work of our City Engineers involves developing many relationships with our workplace, the profession and our community. These relationships are based on valuing both the technical skills of our staff, and the relationship building abilities of our team. Participants will have a chance to learn first hand about the success that our staff have had in transitioning to the Canadian municipal work environment.

We will have engineers from the following areas participating in the 2012 Public Works Week Event:

- Civil
- Environmental
- Information Technology
