Indigenous Recognition Week
Indigenous Recognition Week at the University of Guelph is the third week in October annually.
The purpose of Indigenous Recognition Week is to acknowledge the First Nations, Métis, and Inuit presence and partnerships on campus, and create opportunities for education and discussion. Indigenous Recognition Week is a collaborative initiative between the department of Student Experience, the Indigenous Student Association and many other campus groups, departments and faculty.
