Mastering course content

  • Visit your professor or Teaching Assistant (TA) during office hours. Come prepared with specific questions about the concept or issue you would like to discuss.
  • Your course may have a Help Room or Study Lab staffed by TAs. Review your course’s CourseLink page to see what assistance is available.
  • The Science Commons is a drop-in learning/help centre located on the third floor of the McLaughlin Library. ·
  • Supported Learning Group sessions
    • SLGs are peer-led study groups that can help you gain a more in-depth understanding of course content by connecting "what to learn" with "how to learn."
  • Academic Learning Communities and Academic Support in Residence
    • Academic Drop-in Centers are located in Mountain Hall, Lennox/Addington Hall, and East Residence which are open from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. They are also open on Friday night when there are Saturday exams.
