What role does a Department Chair / School Director play?

A Chair (or Director) oversees the administration of a department (or school) and is responsible for ensuring that departmental business is conducted in accordance with University policy and procedure. S/he also promotes the interests of the department throughout the University. The current Chairs List [1] is available on the UAIC website.
